Find the one thing to work on first.
iFundTraders built this diagnosis for its members, to help you get more out of the classes you already have. It scores your trading in four areas from your answers, and gives you a personal roadmap with the academy classes to watch first.
Scroll to see how it worksYou know a lot of the method by now, and you could explain most of its rules to a friend.
Then the open comes, and a position turns red.
For a few seconds, the noise is louder than anything you studied.
Knowing when to stay out of a tradecame first when we asked members where they wanted help, and one of the four chart questions is about it.
How it works
One question per screen: 18 if you placed any trades in the last month, live or on a simulator, or 15 if you didn't, plus an optional one at the end.
- 1You answer
Pick the answer closest to what you do, or what you'd do. Four questions show you a chart.
- 2We score your answers
Four areas, each from 0 to 100, with the same rules for every member.
- 3You get your roadmap
Your roadmap opens a few seconds after you finish, with the classes that fit your answers in the order to watch them. It has its own private link to come back to, and a PDF you can download.
What each area looks at
- Emotions
What you do when a stock runs without you, when a trade turns against you, and after two losses in a day.
- Discipline
Where your trading rules live, and whether you set and kept your exit on your last trades.
- Chart reading
Four chart situations, including where your stop goes and when to stay out.
- Practice
How often you trade, how you place an order, and what you do after a class or a losing trade.
What your roadmap shows you
- Where you're startingHow your chart reading compares with the way you trade.
- Your four areasA score in each, with your first priority marked.
- Start hereOne action to take first, laid out step by step.
- Your classes, in orderWhat to watch first, what comes next, and what can wait.
Your route has up to six classes, or up to three if you have less than two hours a week for trading and study. In about 90 days you can take it again from your roadmap. Download the PDF of this one first, so you can put the two side by side.

In about eight minutes, you'll know what to work on first.
Your roadmap gives you one step to take now and the classes to watch after it.
